Our Mission
St. Mary’s is a faith community, endeavouring to live and work as people of God.
Our Vision
To increase our knowledge and understanding of God’s word and, remaining open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, seek to discern God’s will for us, in humble awareness that we represent God and his son, Jesus Christ, in the world.

Groups and Activities
Faith Formation
We engage in a variety of faith formation activities, like Bible studies, prayer workshops, and retreats. These are organized seasonally by both clergy and lay leaders.
Youth Group
St. Mary’s youth meet monthly for fun, study, and work. Sessions are organized collaboratively by youth and leaders. Anyone aged 13 and up is welcome.
Altar Guild
The altar guild takes care of the vessels and hangings and prepares the church for worship each week. This dedicated group welcomes new members.
Share Lunch
Following worship on the first Sunday of the month, we gather to eat a pot-luck lunch together. Everyone, with or without food, is welcome!
Community Lunches
St. Mary’s offers a substantial lunch to the Nipigon community roughly once a month in the fall, winter and spring. Lunches usually take place on the third Wednesday of the month. This is both a fundraiser for St. Mary’s and an opportunity to gather in community.
